Shares in India’s Tata Coffee soared nearly 10 percent on Monday after media reports that a proposed tie-up with giant US chain Starbucks will be announced soon.

MUMBAI (Reuters) – Starbucks Corp is finalizing an equity joint venture with India’s Tata Coffee Ltd for opening coffee shops in Asia’s third-largest economy, the Times of India reported on Monday.
